Trinity

Every year we celebrate Trinity Day. This is an opportunity for everyone to talk about and reflect upon the Holy Trinity.

This year all the classes contributed to our Trinity Prayer:

Thank you God for making our world,

For all the amazing animals, from massive elephants to tiny ants,

Jesus, thank you for living like us; dying like us and also for teaching us the good way to live

You are the saviour, defeater of death, healer of wounds, we praise you,

Holy Spirit please help us to be strong in anything that comes our way and help us through the bad times,

We pray that you be our guide in life, living in us, our guarantee to God’s kingdom

Holy Spirit, thank you for making our school come to life.

Amen

Each class contributed a line to our prayer:

This year we will be celebrating Trinity Day on Friday 14th June 2019

Prayer Space

During April 2019, we are hosting our first prayer space at Holy Trinity Academy. Each class will have a set day to visit and have the opportunity to engage with the different reflective stations that will be set up in the library.
The children will not have to pray but will be encouraged to take time to think and reflect on the different aspects of the Lord’s Prayer. The prayer space is open to those of any faith and those of none.

We are going to open this up for a parent ‘drop-in’ on the day that your child’s class visited.
The ‘drop-in’ will be at the end of the school day (3:30pm) and you can come into school from the playground entrance.
