Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at Holy Trinity

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at Holy Trinity

We will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on the last day of this term, Friday 27th May.

Each class will be performing a musical or dramatic item, which is related to one of the decades in the Queen’s reign, to the rest of the school.  All the children will also be involved in creating Jubilee artwork in their class and all children and adults in school will be contributing to a portrait of the Queen, which will be on permanent display in school. The children will also be contributing to a time capsule, which we will bury in the school grounds.

Furthermore, we plan to have a ‘street party’ at lunch time, when the whole school will eat their lunch together outside (weather permitting).  Please see the flyer attached to our latest newsletter regarding a special lunch which can be purchased from Lataca, if you wish.

We would like to involve parents in our celebration, by inviting you to an exhibition of the children’s Jubilee artwork on the 27th May, from 2.45pm.  You are invited to take your child around the school to see work in every class. Further details will follow, but please put the date in your diary!

We are really looking forward to this special day and hope you can join us.
