The Plans for reopening Reception, Y1 and Y6 and the continuation of the on-site provision for key workers and vulnerable children from Monday 1st June

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you are well and staying safe.

Our plans for the possible reopening of Holy Trinity to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 can be found on the letters section of this website - https://www.holytrinitycalne.co.uk/useful-downloads/letters/

The staff would like to thank parents and carers for their support during the lockdown. It has been a real team effort.

From Monday 1st June home learning will start again. Most of the staff will return to teaching and supporting the children on site. Home learning will continue to be managed by the teachers and posted on to the website https://www.holytrinitycalne.co.uk/home-learning/ We have taken the decision as a staff that the continuation of home learning is vital for all the children in Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y5, as well as supporting those children unable to attend the school site in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. Teachers will respond to parents’ email, but it will not be as regular as it has been. We ask that parents do not send any work in. If you would like teachers to see the children’s work, please could it be sent electronically.

The school office will be manned by me in a limited capacity for the foreseeable future. You can still contact the school by using the enquiries@holytrinitycalne.wilts.sch.uk and I will endeavour to respond to emails and phone messages as soon as I am able.

Thank you for your patience during this turbulent time.

Kind regards

Graham Shore
