Peace Garden

In 2015 we redesigned the school's Peace Garden, helped by funds raised by the Friends (parents' association).
It is a quiet place where children can get away from the bustle of the playground and sit, talk, read or think.
The children chose to model the garden on a ruined church, adding a spiritual dimension.

The greeting 'Peace be with you' is often used in assemblies, as it is within church services. Handprints in the concrete remind us of the way we shake hands when we pass on this greeting.
