Home Learning update

Home Learning update

Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their amazing fortitude in keeping Holy Trinity open since the lockdown began on Monday 23rd March. Everyone has worked through their holidays to ensure that home learning has been provided for all the children. In addition key worker and vulnerable children have been supported on site.

We are currently finalising plans for our provision for the next stage in the reopening of the school to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. It has been a lengthy process and one that has involved a number of outside agencies. We hope to able to communicate our plan to parents at the end of this week.

There will be a pause of home learning as we enter what would have been the half term break next week (the week beginning Monday 25th May). Home learning will then resume on Monday 1st June. Teachers will endeavour to respond to parents’ concerns and queries, but this will not be as regular as it has been. This will be due to the return of most staff to the school site to manage the return of Reception, Year 1, Year 6 and the continued provision for the key worker and vulnerable children.

If you have any concerns or questions about this, you can email enquiries@holytrinitycalne.wilts.sch.uk or use the email address for your child’s class.

Kind regards

Graham Shore
